]]> The United States issued its first postage stamps in 1847. Many more followed. This poster shows all of the major regular-issue stamp designs through the issue of 1902-1903. Collectors recognize many minor variations for one design as being separate issues. For example, the designs shown on rows 5 to 7 were printed by three different private companies. Each is regarded as a different issue and are assigned different catalogue numbers.

A poster is a high quality paper image designed to be attached to a wall.  Posters are available in a multitude of sizes and there are thousands of images from across a myriad of genres.  The most popular size of poster is a Maxi 61×91.5cm.  The image may be vertical or horizontal.

Posters are highly versatile and for most sizes can be purchased laminated, blockmounted and framed as well as raw.
