We’re lucky enough to live near Newcastle, NSW and our coastline is great for spotting whales. Between May and November whales can be spotted from multiple spots on the coasts. In SA and VIC it seems to be the Southern Right Whale whilst the Humpbacks head north to mate in the Great Barrier Reef and Kimberley.
